Looking for a truly one-of-a-kind spot? We stumbled upon the Junkyard Bar in Shell Lake, Wisconsin, and it’s unlike anywhere we’ve ever been. The name says it all—this place is decked out to look just like a junkyard! Think old, rusty cars, heaps of spare parts, and a rugged garage vibe from top to bottom.
Don’t let the name fool you, though; this place is buzzing with energy and a ton of fun. While we didn’t grab a bite this time, the food we saw looked absolutely delicious, so we’ll be back to try it for sure. What we can tell you is that the beers were ice-cold and the staff was as friendly as can be.
If you’re ever in Shell Lake and want to grab a drink somewhere unique and lively, the Junkyard Bar is definitely the place to be.
